Admissions Process
Applications are available from the school office and on the school website under the Online Application tab.

The school office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. (closed on school holidays).  In addition to a completed application, copies of an applicant’s state certified birth certificate and Baptismal certificate are required. Once applications have been processed, an interview/testing session will be scheduled. Parents/Legal guardians of students qualifying for enrollment will meet with the Pastor and Principal to discuss family participation in the faith life and activities at St. Felicitas.

• Transitional Kindergarten Admittance: A child must be 4 years old by September 1st of the current year.
• Kindergarten Admittance: A child must be 5 years old by September 1st of the current year.
• First Grade Admittance: A child must be 6 years old by September 1st of the current year.

Priority of Acceptance

• Siblings of students currently enrolled at St. Felicitas Catholic School whose parents/legal guardians are registered and at St. Felicitas Catholic Church.
• Catholic students whose parents/legal guardians are registered and worshiping at St. Felicitas Catholic Church.
• Prospective Catholic students whose parents/legal guardians are registered and worshiping at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in San Leandro; verification of registration and worship must be submitted by the Pastor.
• Catholic students whose parents/legal guardians are registered and worshiping in another Catholic parish; verification of registration and worship must be submitted by the Pastor.
• Non-Catholic students.

We will offer different payment plan options for your family’s convenience (annual payment in full, 3 payments, 10 payments from August 2025-May 2026, and 12 payments from July 2025-June 2026).

Tuition assistance is available to qualifying families through FACE, BASIC Fund, and our school-based financial aid program. Before applying for school-based tuition assistance, you must apply for assistance through FACE or BASIC first. 

The deadline to turn in applications for assistance is March 28, 2025.

BASIC Fund(link)

The BASIC Fund (Bay Area Scholarships for Inner-City Children) is a privately funded program whose mission is to broaden the educational opportunities for inner-city children by helping low-income families afford the cost of tuition at private schools in the Bay Area.

St. Felicitas Catholic School Fund
The St. Felicitas Catholic School Fund was created to provide tuition assistance for families who desire a Catholic education for their child(ren), but are experiencing difficulties meeting the financial obligation of rising costs. The fund provides grant amounts based on household size and income to students entering kindergarten through eighth grades.

Family Aid - Catholic Education(link)

FACE tuition grants are available to students attending any Catholic elementary & high schools in the Diocese of Oakland. Grants are made without reference to a student’s race, religion, color or ethnic origin.

The Guardsman Scholarship (link)

Students' families select the private school of their choice and apply to receive Guardsmen support for a portion of the tuition. Tuition payments are made by The Guardsmen directly to schools. Recipients from the prior year and their siblings are automatically enrolled provided that they reapply annually and continue to meet academic and financial eligibility requirements.
